Opening Hours

The memorial is open Tuesdays through Thursdays from 10:00 a.m. to 06:00 p.m. and Fridays and Saturdays from 11:00 a.m. to 05:00 p.m. Visits outside the opening hours are available by arrangement. For guided tours and research inquiries, please contact our staff in advance. We look forward to scheduling an appointment with you on site.

Visits and Inquiries

If you are looking for information about former forced labourers or perpetrators in the vicinity of the company HASAG or other former sites of forced labour in the National Socialist state in Leipzig, please do not hesitate to contact us by telephone or in writing. We will try to respond as quickly as possible, but do ask for your patience, as we may not always be able to reply immediately given the volume of inquiries.  

Moreover, you may register for a guided tour with us. To do this, please contact us in advance and register with sufficient notice.

The memorial is located on the premises of the Helmholtz Centre (UFZ) for Environmental Research between Permoser and Torgauer Straße in the north west of Leipzig.

The memorial is accessible via the main entrance of the UFZ at Permoserstraße 15. Once inside, keep left and follow the directions. The memorial is housed in building 01, a small white building directly alongside the road next to the large main brick building.
